Borosilicate frit: High gloss and transparency. Primarily contains B₂O₃ and SiO₂, commonly used for glossy glazes on everyday porcelain. The glaze is glass-like and transparent, suitable for the glossy finish required for tableware and bathroom fixtures.

Lead-cadmium frit: Vivid color expression. Commonly used in traditional low-temperature glazes, but environmental restrictions must be considered. Capable of producing saturated colors such as red and yellow, suitable for painted crafts, but gradually being replaced by lead-free frit.

Zinc-aluminum frit: Matte and opaque effects. Contains ZnO and Al₂O₃, used for antique glazes and crackle glazes. The glaze is soft and non-glaring, with natural and even crackles, creating an "antique porcelain" texture.
