Description

Transparent frit in our production range is mainly applied in glaze systems where post-firing clarity is essential. It is commonly used for white tableware and porcelain bodies where the glaze must remain colorless and visually clean after firing.

GlazePeak transparent frit is specifically developed as a high temperature transparent frit, optimized for high-silica, high-alumina, and high-calcium glaze systems used in tableware and sanitary ceramics.

Compared with low-temperature transparent frit systems, this high-temperature series focuses more on structural stability during peak firing. Alkali content is intentionally controlled to reduce excessive melt activity, which helps maintain glaze–body compatibility under demanding kiln conditions.

At high temperatures, it forms a well-distributed glass phase with strong light transmission rather than surface haze.

GlazePeak transparent frit 301# is engineered to remain chemically and structurally stable across a firing range of 1200–1300°C, covering the most common high-temperature cycles used in:

②Sanitary ware transparent glazes
③High-temperature colored glaze
④Soft matte glazes blended with raw materials

 

The 301# frit maintains controlled viscosity at high temperature, preventing excessive glaze flow, edge thinning, or surface waviness.

In practical kiln operation, the relatively higher softening point helps suppress early gas release, which reduces the chance of pinhole formation. The balanced CaO content supports sufficient glaze flow at peak temperature without causing over-running. When properly matched with the firing curve, the glaze surface remains smooth while avoiding defects typically associated with excessive flux.
